We are a charity that offers personal transport to people who find it difficult to get to, or sustain, employment, volunteering or further education opportunities because of a lack of available transport options.
Our Scooter and Bicycle services are for County Durham residents only. We classify County Durham residents as people from a household who pay their Council Tax to Durham County Council.
If your Council Tax is paid to a different Local Authority area, you will need to look for a similar service there.

Wheels 2 Work County Durham is a non-profit organisation that holds personal data for members/clients only to administer their membership, ie., participation in the Wheels 2 Work scheme.
It also holds personal data of those people and organisations who have expressed an interest in Wheels 2 Work, so that they may be informed about news, events, reports, briefings etc about Wheels 2 Work.

We will not pass your information to any other parties unless this is made clear to you at the time you supplied it. Any employees, funders and/or partners who have access to your information or are associated with the handling of that data are legally obliged to respect your confidentiality.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information. We keep the personal information we collect about you in secure environments. We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, use, alteration or destruction by any organisation or individuals.
