Wheels 2 Work County Durham operates a Scooter-loan service and runs the Recycle 2 Work bicycle scheme. These programmes help County Durham residents sustain or access employment, apprenticeships or further education that would otherwise be difficult because of challenging public transport connections, availability or out-of-hour work pattern or you have no other mode of transport. A scooter may be the answer if you have a significant distance to travel or a non electric bike could meet your needs. For more information on scooter-loan click here or Recycle 2 Work click here.
If you live in Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar or Cleveland please click here for the Tee Valley scheme

Please note we do not cover Newcastle, Gateshead, Washington, Birtley or Sunderland
